For future improvement, task rotation and social activities could help with staff development
The good thingsThe team is highly professional and supportive, with proper training and a culture of respect. They also maintain a healthy work–life balance.
The challengesThere is room to improve staff communication. Introducing a weekly social activity could help strengthen team interaction.

Decent salary but you are just a number and the environment is sterile.
The good thingsNo issue with pay, good exercise work is simple and straightforward.
The challengesThe work is repetitive and boring and usually there's no music playing and there's policy that no personal music devices allowed in a glasshouse. So the day goes very slowly but the leaders have their own rules and are often busy with their own gadgets its a corporation and not a family business if you work here you are just a number they don't really care about your happiness many people say they are unhappy and looking for work somewhere else.

What They Don’t Tell You About This Job⚠️ 𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝! ⚠️
This is based on my personal experience working here. I’m sharing this to help others avoid wasting their time and energy relocating without knowing the real situation.
But... if you’re okay with the tough conditions, go ahead. But if not, this might save you the trouble.
***
🧑💼 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿:
- The female supervisor is extremely UNFAIR and RUDE. If she doesn’t like you, she’ll embarrassing you personally even when you’re already doing your BEST. There’s no empathy or appreciation. It often feels like she's looking for reasons to put you down. What’s worse: she turns all the workers against each other, creating a toxic environment where everyone feels the need to COMPETE for speed just to avoid being shouted at. There’s no reward—only the “prize” of not being targeted on that day. This creates an unhealthy atmosphere where people are afraid of falling behind or getting called out. Very KPI-focused, even for unrealistic targets. If you can’t keep up, you’ll be pushed harder or treated unfairly.
📝 𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
- The job is physically demanding. Expect sore muscles, numb hands, and overall body fatigue after each shift. It’s repetitive, monotonous, and all about speed. You need to move fast constantly, no matter how tired you are.
💵 𝗣𝗮𝘆:
- NOT worth the stress and pressure.
⏱ 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲:
- You get 3 breaks, but can’t enjoy them. You feel rushed to return early just to restart work quickly and even “get ahead” of your coworkers.
👯♀️ 𝗖𝗼𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀:
Some are friendly, but many just acted like they were better. No real teamwork—everyone was too busy competing to be the fastest.
⚠️ 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞! ⚠️
If you're okay with intense pressure and strict spv, go ahead. But if you're expecting a supportive, fair work environment, this may not be the place.

I don't like the environment. Too many rules, the boss only cares about themselves as long as it profits the company.
The good thingsThey give quite stable hours, free coffee and sugar.
The challengesPower trip! Lots of supervisor taking advantages of their position to control their people. Sometimes it's unfair for someone that being disliked by them.

You can find better conditions and wages in a supermarket stacking shelves
The good thingsThe many, many overseas casual employees were friendly.
The challengesHR would always promise better opportunities and while I worked my but off and always exceeded targets, they employed new people and gave them the job they'd promised me. They would rather give a job to someone from overseas on a casual basis, than to a local on fulltime.

One of the worst places i have ever worked, was excluded and never made to feel part of the team, was treated as though they were much smarter than i was and far more superior, i always felt that my job was never secure the whole time i was there.

Good people but very hot
The good things- Although it is dependent on which department you work in, the people are generally very nice and management is approachable
- Opportunity to earn bonuses in crop work and picking roles
- Away from the traffic of the city
- Career pathways for migrants and people with little to no experience prior to the job.
The challenges- Temperatures and humidity are often above 30 degrees and 100% humidity and many people fake sick days to escape the conditions
- Career pathways are there, but the ceiling is low. It's a good stepping-stone job to build your experience
- Long hours. Expect to work from sunrise to sunset some days, and work a lot of Saturdays in summer
- Incredibly boring, monotonous work. Strict hygiene policy prevents the usage of music players
- The farm is growing rapidly, and the 'family business' ethos is fading. As the farm grows, there is less focus on employee wellbeing and satisfaction as there once was.

Couldn’t recommend working at Flavorite enough!
The good thingsWhile Flavorite is a large business it is also family owned and operated so you don’t feel like a number but a part of a team. The management structure is very supportive and ethical.
The challengesNone that come to mind in the role I performed.

Great People but Poor Career Prospects
The good thingsThe people I worked with are some of the friendliest people I have met and they are relationships I will always highly regard.
Management staff are typically very understanding of personal circumstances and don't push individuals beyond their capabilities.
The challengesThe work is very repetitive and the work environment is poor. But the biggest issue is the low career prospects. People can spend years doing a minimum wage job with little to no room to develop their career. This job is more suited to someone looking for 'just a job', not someone looking for a career path.
