Soul destroying, the entire experience has made me abandon a 15 year career and pursue something completely different. If you value your mental health DO NOT WORK THERE. The good thingsDepartment Manager was amazing.

The challengesRostering you get split days off, toxic environment, you only matter if you're in the purple circle, you get run into the ground and they'll still ask for more. Theres 0 work life balance. The bakery production is 100x more than any bakery I've ever worked in. The bakers don't have their breaks because theres just too much work to do. If you're fast and finish your own work you get to do everyone else's aswell. You dont get any incentives for working there not even 5% off your shop like other supermarkets. The place is old and tired, the mentality of upper managers is if its working don't change it, hence why the place is run like its 1980.
There is so much potential but its just being wasted. They don’t want to do well, they just want consistently average.
