Vibrant and exciting with nice people and massive global networks that we can reach out to.
The good thingsFun and fast environment - it is never dull! Alot of experience, I underestimated this coming here but the experience I have around me her is better than bigger players in the industry. I can always learn and ask questions.
The challengesParking - no designated parking spots but surrounding street parking is OK and sometimes I take public transport as buses are close by.

I am now an expert at pretending to care and work! Where is my boss?
The good thingsMany people coming and going each day, if you didn't have to wear ID you could walk in & out at your leisure without being challenged.
The challengesMy boss doesn't have direction, so cant direct me. It's hard to keep trying when you get treated the same if you do or if you dont. The structure is complex, i dont even try to understand where everyone outside my team fits in.

A good company that can be better by bringing their people together and improving the vibe of the place, and perhaps pay them more to attract and retain the best staff to help realise the company's goals.
The good thingsWas allowed flexible hours if I needed them and our team worked well together. Very nice GM. Quite a lot of older employees which was good to see. No ageism there. Opportunity for advancement if you put the effort in. Well-run company with high ambitions.
The challengesTheir operation is split into modules or individual business units. These can work well but it seems to have resulted in social walls with many employees not speaking to each other. If you are not in someone's team you might as well work elsewhere. I have not experienced this on such a scale and it was the strangest atmosphere I've ever worked in. People would simply ignore you and make no effort to say hello. I've heard this is a recurring comment from ex-employees. Just a very dour, sterile environment. If you don't mind that it would be fine. I would rate the pay as average.

I heard it used to be great, but bad management came in a few years ago.
The good thingsManagement are rarely around, they never visit us or know our name so we can get away with things.
The challengesNo direction, Bad culture in place. Promotions are gained through shutting up and doing what told. Opinions are not encouraged.

Poor recruiting but they can’t lure quality talent due to the poor culture. People in the industry know this and turn away from opportunities. Senior management in Sydney are far too political and covering up their poor management/people skills by bandaid
The good thingsSome good people trying hard to change its image.
The challengesPoor culture which stems from senior management especially in Melbourne office.

The best 6 years of my working life so far.
The good thingsThe working conditions were excellent, with a wide range of roles to keep you motivated and enthused. Management encouraged lateral thinking and initiative. The pay rate was more than acceptable, and most importantly, it was a safe and fun environment to work in. I thoroughly recommend applying should a position become available.
The challengesWhen a new customer was acquired, planning and setup to service their needs was challenging, this required many overtime hours to implement the changes needed. The transport traffic plan would occasionally experience problems as there are a number of businesses all situated in the one complex, which again required planning to avoid congestion and bank ups.
