Over complicated docketing software in an environment where the left hand dose not speak to the right.
The good thingsSome technicians & support staff are very friendly.
The challengesOver complicated paperwork software that very seldom works & the kicker to this is that you are rated on your check in & check out times per annum, so when it comes to pay review time good luck. There is no benefit to being a good honest & sound technician because everything is solely KPI based.

Grosvenor Perth HVAC has got to be one of the best companies I've ever worked for!
The good thingsGreat group of technicians, managers and coordinators. The pay rate is probably the highest in Perth with top company benefits and a good variety of sites to work around Perth in the Commercial space. They support a fair bit with family commitments and personal work-arounds.
The challengesPaperwork and app use for reports can be tricky when you start (as like anywhere) but there's a good team of people to help out.

Best bunch of techs you’ll ever work with
The good thingsGreat bunch of techs and coordinators that will work with you not against, the service managers are there for you and they listen
The challengesThe in-house service app can be challenging but when it works it’s ok to deal with

Great opportunities to get into a growth industry.
The good thingsGreat team of fellow workers, good work vehicle and work life balance.
The challengesThe work app was a bit cumbersome and high turnover of people in management positions.

It's ok if you need a job. They will employ anyone.
The good thingsMet some great people working here. In house apps are very user friendly when they work.
The challengesVery team dependent. If you are in a bad team there's no way out of it. If you get bad sites or clients your stuck with them, management don't want to work to assist with site issues unless it affects them. They only care about your app stat's and risk assessments and Issues are ignored. There's no team culture, no team events or Christmas parties for techs unless you plan it yourself. Management will host there own events.

The grass isn't always greener on the other side. Once you look past the fancy reporting and in house apps Grosvenor is just another company specializing in changing filters and cost cutting on employees. Ensure your RA is completed on time otherwise there'll be hell to pay come next service meeting when your pie chart isn't all green, even when the apps fail.. This will come back to haunt you after your next performance review, if your lucky you might receive 1%.
The good thingsHard working technicians. Wide variety of work. Large breadth of knowledge across company.
The challengesOverly complex and detailed paperwork systems. Ranking technician performance solely on paperwork. Toxic office environment. Outdated technology.

Overall there is some good technicians there and the worklife balance is generally pretty good. My advice if you are looking for a pay check it's a good place to work, if you are after a career, good management or a good variety of sites to work stay away from grosvenor engineering group.
The good thingsGood work vehicle or option for vehicle allowance. Option for RDO'S
The challengesDealing with managers who are out of there depth, they talk the talk but do not walk the walk. They will dangle career progression in front of you with no integrity behind it. They will make you attend data centres to work on CRAC units and provide zero training knowing full well those clients are a nightmare to deal with. They will promise you it's a family culture and they care about you, ultimately they only care about there bottom line and sadly the perth buisness unit has just become a revolving door due to new management.

    A great experience in disorganisation
The good thingsThey choose good people with great intentions. Good salary.
The challengesYou don't feel safely employed, primarily due to lack of defined roles, process and knee-jerk, sometimes toxic management. The staff may do a great job, with valid ethics behind how they work, you may 'work smart' however judgement sits with your online and system visibility which can be less relevant particularly to customer facing roles many of the client facing and ops roles are not clearly defined with crossover of up to 3 people/departments for issue resolution that one person could manage. Its messy!

The good thingsA few down to earth colleagues and the HR Team
The challengesNo due processes in place, its all about the dollar. Every state is in it for themselves and do not work together for a common goal. It's a National Company but inhouse is in discord.
