It is a great place to grow, tackle meaningful challenges, and be part of a great team.
The good thingsStaff we work with are generally all amazing people, really inclusive, and supportive.
The challengesProcess's and training could be communicated a little better throughout different departments.

Thought it was going to be great working close to home. It’s a career ender.
The good thingsSome of the staff were great people but ultimately they were also treated terribly.
The challengesManagement is absolutely diabolical, have zero people skills and I’ve never been treated so badly as I was there. They have zero understanding of Fair Work and are a workcover claimed waiting to happen.

Uncomfortable at beginning, glad to leave at end. Poor people practices and management skills of leaders.
The good thingsChallenging role and environment
The challengesOwners and management need to adjust to thinking and acting more corporately. Very emotional and reactive decision making based on gut feelings which makes your sense of security in the role minimal.

It was a terrible decision to leave a great company to work for Grove thinking I’d found a good job close to home.
The good thingsA few good people to work with.. but overall, nothing good about working for Grove.
The challengesManagement are terrible; the very top mgmt sets the standard and that standard works its way down. People do not get a fair go (unless you are the flavor of the month.. and this does not last). Very high turnover of staff, including management that disagree with how the top operates and treats people. No stability. Staff who are extremely defensive due to style of management. You are considered a number, not an asset, to the company.

The people were nice, the culture emanating from management ordinary at best
The good thingsThe people I worked with were good.
The challengesA high turnover of staff. Hearing how the trades were spoken to I found to be disrespectful.

    Challenging Workplace
The good thingsMost of the people were good. The modular construction industry is booming.
The challengesLack of management structure or direction.
