    Some good team members but working 6-7 days a week on jobs that have been poorly managed and then getting contractual on sub contractors that were the cheapest and not capable from the offset leads to a poor working environment with similar results.

    Highlight of a long time in the construction game.
    The good thingsA true "No Egos" construction management team set up. Everyone on the same page with regards to Safety and Programming of works.

    I really enjoy working in the Retirement sector of Hindmarsh. We help look after some wonderful residents in a fun and supported team environment.

    Wouldn't ever want to leave.
    The good thingsThe best things about working at Hindmarsh are definitely the people, the clear career progression and the willingness of everyone in the company to assist each other when needed. A really good family atmosphere within the company that really helps you settle into the company easily.
    The challengesBiggest challenge, at least in my role, is meeting deadlines. Not at the fault of Hindmarsh, rather the clients drive the deadlines and are often very short periods of time.

    I feel like I have found the right fit with Hindmarsh, a great bunch of down to earth senior management where the culture flows onto the office and site personnel.
    The good thingsA great culture, friendly and very welcoming. A supportive manager through training and learning new areas of my role. Encouraging of suggesting new ideas and projects. IT systems are very impressive, so easy to navigate - constant updates. Amazing location in North Sydney - close to public transport and coffee / lunch locations.
    The challengesI think starting during COVID would have been seen as a challenge...but Hindmarsh made it all seamless, from onboarding to making me feel so welcome, they have delivered the tools for you to work from home and are clear on the instructions for alternatives such as the office and site. Hats off Hindmarsh!
