An enjoyable and fast paced experience.
The good thingsI enjoyed the staff, they were all friendly when I first started and they're still friendly now and as well the experience. Despite it being fast food, there is enjoyable moments with both staff and customers.
The challengesDespite the staff being one its strength, it definitely is one of the biggest weaknesses as well. There is a lot of communication that has to be done between front and back of house and without that, it would be a mess. So communication could have some work.

    Good first job, terrible long-term.
The good thingsGreat staff discount, work is repetitive - easy to pick up on.
The challengesNo room for growth (never offered pay rises/advanced job opportunities), pay is terrible. Poor management leads to bad rostering, meaning they depend on you to come in on days off.

    Awesome place to start.
The good thingsCoworkers are great. We work well as a team and the shift runs smoothly. Always enough staff. Climbing the ladder is doable. Many of my coworkers became managers.
The challengesCustomers smash windows. Leave toilets unflushed. Spill drinks everywhere. But that comes with the job.

My experience so far at Hungry Jacks is going well I feel like there's things that need improvement.
The good thingsWhat I have enjoyed so far is making new friends at the store and I also enjoy making the burgers.
The challengesGetting to learn all the machines in the store. There's a lot of things to remember in the store which is really challenging to me.

Hungry Jacks is a great place to work as a young person!
The good thingsThe people I work with are young and friendly, and whenever I ask for help they are quick to show me what to do.
The challengesSometimes it can get really stressful when there are a lot of orders.

I didn’t have a good experience here because of the area itself. The managers were really rude and asked personal questions about my background, even mocking it. They had high expectations on my first shifts. I'd get sworn at by middle aged customers, and none of the crew members were patient with me. I only ever enjoyed it because of the experience I got from it.
The good thingsGaining lots of experience as it was my first time working there. I enjoyed
The challengesI didn't like the people and area. I had Angry/racist managers.

its alright for a high schooler but needs more managers who care about the workers rather than profits
The good thingsfor a first time job as a high schooler its great, works well with school at times and a good bit of pocket money most of the staff are great and a few managers stand out as amazing
The challengeson the flip side sometimes managers don't think about how high schoolers need some time off for studies and a social life outside of school while most of the staff are great sometimes you get a few with an attitude and one manager Wayne was the worst he didn't care about us and treated us as such :(

A pretty good first job, depending on who you work with.
The good thingsThe best part of the job was working with fun people. They made the shifts so much more enjoyable. I had flexibility with my schedule, if I made a mistake it wasn't a big deal, some managers let us play music in the back and get free food. I learned a lot about customer service and gained valuable experience.
The challengesA challenge was staying friendly and welcoming to every customer, especially when many didn’t bother with greetings or manners. It’s tiring being ignored, and some customers were outright rude. I had a few encounters with customers who yelled or threw things, and I experienced intimidation and had my hand grabbed. It was also often dirty. The drinks and ice cream stations were sticky, the fries section was greasy, and the floors were slippery with oil.

All round was not a bad experience except for some minor flaws within the workplace.
The good thingsFlexibility, management style and fairly easy work.
The challengesThe low pay rate, toxicity within the staff and crew as well as the inability to gain to more hours of work due to the tight scheduled roster.

It feels like I'm playing cooking fever
The good thingsI enjoyed working at fast pace, I loved cleaning and bagging food and working at an organisational way. Also having to do manager roles like speaking to the customers and sorting problems/ issues in person or through the phone and just problem solving.
The challengesthere weren't that many challenges but some shifts there would be less staff due to them calling in sick but the team and I manage to get through the shift.
