Needs work culturally, but strong product and people foundationThere are many good people in the business and the product offering is strong. However, like many large organisations, there are cultural challenges that need attention — particularly around psychological safety, open feedback, and consistent leadership behaviour. Some departments are more progressive and collaborative than others, and there’s room to improve how support functions like HR engage with the broader business. With the right focus on genuine cultural improvement (beyond surface-level initiatives), this could be an exceptional place to work.

Toxic, chauvinistic management that dont listen to staff
The good thingsOnsite cafe and location
The challengesToxic management that don't listen to staff, surveys conducted with no real action on results, chauvinistic style of management from a number of GM's and Directors, self promoting their way to the top, poor pay and staff expected to carry expenses for company with delayed reimbursements.

Volatile OEM with High turnover, Reactive management with a total disregard for their dealerships
The good thingsCheap onsite gym membership, nice offices,
The challengesReactive management, VERY volatile - The high staff turnover, the artificial attitude of management and staff on lvl 4, expectation of staff using their own money to make company purchases and waiting too long for refunds, Heavy on management who over look non-preforming staff

    Automotive Technician
    Mar 2020
3 to 4 years in the role, former employee
Highly skilled and dependable with hands-on experience and excellent training to perform service, diagnostics, and repairs on hyundai light vehicle
The good thingsgood company and good benefits
The challengesThe role of automotive technicians has changed significantly over the last decade due to rapid advancements in automotive technology. Nowadays, cars are now less about improving tyre-pressure and more about balancing a finely tuned computer system. This shift is reflected in the roles available, with it now being more common for automotive dealerships and organisations to employ technicians that have specific diagnostic and technical experience alongside mechanical abilities.

Korean company operating with one-dimensional Korean mentality.
The good thingsGood diversity, possible career progression.
The challengesBusiness is too entrenched into selling as opposed to maximizing profit. C-Suite don't push back enough and make sure Head Office understands the challenging market. Not analytical enough to understand market retractions given economic uncertainty...\"targets only go up\"

    Expat Presence Shames Australia
The good thingsThe cars, the benefits and some of the people
The challengesExpat presence is totally unnecessary. They are here as an incentive/career development opportunity for 3-5 years. They don't understand or seek to understand Australian culture. They are accountable only for sale volume and profitability. Korean business culture is militaristic in nature, think hierarchy, change of command. If you value empowerment, equal opportunity and market based pay (i.e. things we accept as normal Australian business practices), do NOT join this company. Entry level position for 2-3 years only to get exposure to the automotive industry is OK, don't think or plan beyond that.
