Career-damaging body shop, with a friendly face but absent management, no capability and no support.
The good thingsfriendly colleagues, some interesting deployments
The challengesno standards, no management, no support, no professional development, no paternity leave. 99% of my time was working alone. A body shop which professes a 'family' environment but in practice this just means a mandatory trip once per month after hours unpaid to the CBD where you are required to watch a presentation which contain little or no information.

    Not worth
The good thingsI had a highly disappointing experience with this company. They promised me a job nearly two years ago but kept me waiting with endless emails and calls from HR, claiming I was about to be recruited. It never happened and also I had nearly 4 interviews and my referees were interviewed nearly 45 minutes. I've heard that many others have also been misled, and this has seriously impacted their visas, leaving them in difficult situations. If you don’t have vacancies, please be honest instead of stringing people along. This company is not trustworthy and has caused unnecessary stress. Not worth even a single star.

Seen some good days in past, but not anymore.
The good thingsEmployees are taken care of , well most of the times.
The challengesIt is a consulting company or a body shopper . Your jobs is safe as long as you are at client's. The working environment is basically dependent on the client that you are at.

There were few benefits to working for IMA.
The good thingsThey are an equal opportunity employer who encourage you to work only the minimum hours you are charged out for (8hrs per day). It is a good way to get experience in industries you have never worked in before.
The challengesYou are contractually obliged to attend their monthly company meetings in your own time, above the 8hrs you have worked for the client. There is no accredited training available. No staff perks (the \"profit scheme\" which is your bonus is about $20 per quarter). No career advancement opportunities. Consequentially, very high turnover of consultants.

The good thingsVariety of roles and opportunities made available to employees. Forward thinking and growing.
The challengesPrimarily Melbourne based company remotely managing Sydney employees and clients.
