It really depends on your store managerThe good thingsI've had several managers at a few different Jacqui E stores, and the positives of working here really depend on your store manager. It can be a fun place to work if you have friendly coworkers, and the employee discount is worth it if you wear Jacqui E clothes day-to-day (not just at work). You are able to pick up more hours at other stores if they need someone to fill in, not just limited to Jacqui E but also other companies under the \"Just Group\".
The challengesManagement in general doesn't seem to care about employee wellbeing. Feet hurt from standing? Too bad, you're not even allowed to lean on anything all day. Can't find someone to cover you for lunch? Oh well, better eat fast! Managers can be supportive, but the general feel of Jacqui E in general is that money comes first (upsell, upsell!). The pay was minimum retail wage when I worked there.
