Tier one at the very bottom end of the scale.
The good thingsSome flexibility subject to role. Easy to be good at what you do as others have no idea.
The challengesFrustratingly arrogant to systems identified which require attention. Poor communication. Everyone gets a promotion or award (If you don’t make noise).

The way this tier one company conducts themselves with regards to potential candidates is really a disgrace no follow up information regarding job applications or even after an interview not a word yet continue to re advertise for the position So based on that those who attended the interviews would now know they were unsuccessful
The good thingsWent for a face to face interview for the position advertised Never heard anything back from them not a word not even notification that i was unsuccessful nothing Pretty bad i must say
The challengesFailed to get back to me with regards to my interview out come just left me hanging

HR changed our contract without consultation with workers and tried to screw us out of all overtime. Their answer was do as we say or lose your job. Made us all redundant.
    The good thingsTravelling throughout Australia.
The challengesNo work life balance. Being forced to work away for months at a time with no breaks. Not being able to take leave, forced to take leave when management decided. Poor basic wages whilst managers take bonuses based on others efforts.

Great learnings on how not to transform a business
The good thingsOffice environment clean and professional Projects genuinely try to incorporate social impact initiatives - good news stories Good Salary
The challengesDysfunctional Management team all trying to create a new culture based on the last company they worked for. No budget or investment in the support functions. You will only get money and development opportunities if you are in Engineering Surviving the annual pre-Christmas redundancies Antiquated computer systems - pretty sure John Holland is the last company in Australia to be using Lotus Notes

The worst experience I have had working for such a well known Australian Company, I expected a lot more & was not supported at all. Make sure you do your homework before accepting a role here.
The good thingsSalary & central location in the city.
The challengesThe management structure is the worst I have ever experienced. They have untrained manager’s with no support from senior management above. The culture is terrible.
