    The good thingsMy experience at JBC has been so rewarding and easy from the beginning. Even my invite for an interview was done with my interests in mind. I have been very well supported in my professional development, with regular opportunities for training both in groups and as an individual. I have been given a schedule that fits my lifestyle and have been met with understanding and flexibility in tricky times. The staff in the office are absolutely wonderful. They truly do care for their staff in the same way they do their clients. I have been recognised for my efforts above and beyond what I could have hoped. Everybody I have worked with at JBC has upheld the values. I am very proud to work with with them.
    The challengesI have not experienced any challenges. If I did, I know that I could be comfortable to bring them to the table and that action would be taken.

    If you genuinely love support work- Don't wait any longer to join JBC
    The good thingsI love that at Better Better Care words and action align! When they say that they believe in matching the right staff with the right client- you better believe it!! I have worked for JBC for 3.5 years and do not plan on leaving anytime soon. It just doesn't feel like work when I am truly matched with a client that I enjoy the company of. Another great thing I enjoy about JBC is that they really do recruit the best people. At my interview I was told, "We don't just employ anyone". "Sure", I quietly thought. But I decided to take a punt. Years later I have to say that they have honoured their word. With the exception of just one staff member (who was very quickly sorted out) I have worked alongside of the most amazing, professional, genuinely caring people- it truly is a pleasure that I do not take for granted.
    The challengesI have not found any challenges. JBC allows you to have a voice- this means absolutely anything can be problem-solved before it becomes an issue.

    A waste of my time, they just assume everyone wants to drive crazy distances in their own car...when I said I'd prefer shorter travel....

    The application process was a breeze, the interview was great and I felt that the interviewees were kind. They took the time to get to know me and my skill set and made me feel like I was already a part of the team. Once accepting my role the induction and internal training support from the team of experienced management and supporting staff was amazing, I felt confident in my new role and if I needed help everyone was more than happy to assist me. Absolutely proud to be apart of this team!
    The good thingsMy personal development within the company is always a priority for HR and the Director, they are extremely supportive and involved with my future goals and progression within the company. I pride myself in providing care to people in my community who are aging or have a disability, I would not be able to do this without working for Just Better Care Mid North Coast.

    It is a great experience, for me I joined them a few years ago and came from a very different industry so I enjoyed learning a lot and making a difference in customers life working alongside a very supportive team and meeting a lot of nice people (clients and colleagues).
