Robotic team with no support from your teamThe good thingsOverall very nice people, open to new culture and intelligent people working there
The challengesFor the admissions team, there was unrealistic workload, they won't say it but you almost have no time to go use the bathroom, because that means you are losing the time out of your work day. I worked like a robot with no sense of accomplishment at the end of each day. The job itself was very low level to what I had experienced in the previous job, but you are expected to do the very manual work everyday.
The team leader was extremely braggy about her life, asked me about my personal life and always left some judgmental comments about my life, and manage to navigate every conversation to end in how great her life is. I could not avoid seeing her or interact with her. I still needed her help as a new hire. HR couldn't do anything about this and I ended up having mental health issues after this job.
