The good thingsKieser Norwood has been a great place to work. I have felt supported by my leaders and colleagues.
The challengesNone to mention so far outside of what you would expect in a new role.

Big business run by small minded people Complete and utter waste of my time
The good thingsI enjoyed the autonomy and clean working environments, most of the employees are polite and helpful. Management definitely don't fit into the helpful or polite category. Do not consider this employer look elsewhere.
The challengesTook over the role from a part time employee who had no interest in a proper handover, minimal training over 3 days and that was it. I took over warehousing, parts and machine repairs, much more responsibility than I was being paid for. Constant battle with a contractor who has no concept of teamwork. Asked for a pay rise to meet my responsibilities and got fired one week later just before the end of my probationary period. Kieser Australia is run and managed by small minded people running a big business with a small business mentality. Big turnover of staff. Do not consider this employer look elsewhere.

Management of Kieser NSW is some of the worst I have seen in any company. How some people are still employed is unbelievable after multiple complaints have been made. I am so glad I no longer work at Kieser!!!
The good thingsNot much. A young workforce made it fun working with colleagues. Education can be good as a new employee but after 2 years its all the same.
The challengesAll of it. Little to no support whilst maintaining the highest of expectations. Nobody wants to work as hard as they possibly can all day every day whilst being payed poorly for the role. Kieser does not understand this. The executive team are hypocrites and have no ethics.

The challengesClinician admin responsibilities can be time consuming, but all processes have a meaningful purpose and efficiency is improving with updated technology.

Its great to be part of a growing and progressive company who look after their clients and team members better than any other healthcare provider in Australia.
The good things1. Culture - working with an awesome bunch of motivated health professionals. We have loads of fun together at work, events and outside of work. 2. Amazing outcomes we get for our clients. 3. Variety - I consult 2 days, then also mentor team members and work with medical and community partners

The good thingsThe opportunity to collaborate with dedicated colleagues, contribute to a positive team culture, and engage in meaningful work that makes a real impact on the local community
The challengesThe challenge is that the business is growing at a rapid pace, which is a great problem to have. It just wouldn't suit everyone, the key is finding the right people to ensure its long-term sustainability.

Kieser has served me well and helped me grow so much as a clinician.
The good thingsI truly admire the team’s culture, where everyone shares a genuine passion for delivering exceptional outcomes for every client.
The challengeson the flip side, working with people who are so passionate has sometimes proved it difficult to have a good work/life balance. people tend to take work home quite a bit and there are often communications happening outside of working hours.

At Kieser, I am surrounded by passionate professionals, strong leadership and opportunities to grow both professionally and personally.
The good thingsIt's inspiring to be part of an organisation where people are genuinely passionate about improving health and longevity. Seeing and hearing stories from our clients about the positive impact strength training at Kieser has on their ability to do what they love reinforces the value of the work we do. Kieser fosters a strong leadership culture, with a clear focus on building capability and providing career advancement opportunities for team members. I have genuine flexibility in my head office role, including dedicated remote work days and flexible working day start and finish times to support balance.
The challengesAs a growing organisation, things move fast and can change direction. This work style doesn't suit everyone.

    Underwhelming
The good thingsGetting to work in strength and conditioning which benefits an ageing population.
The challengesRegional differences between a FANTASTIC franchise and head office and poorly run zones or regions. The values of an organisation, when adhered to, provide for a great culture but when ignored lead to staff churn and a poor culture.

    Fun, positive, and rewarding.
The good thingsWe have a great multidisciplinary team who all work together in the same area. The whole place revolves around the clients who know this, and this creates a very positive environment. Monthly professional development seminars are held for all staff, which furthers knowledge and interest in what we do.
The challengesSalary is below average for someone with my experience and qualifications.
