Micromanaging. Horrible. Do not work here.
The good thingsFree parking. Nice co workers
The challengesManagement is very toxic. They micromanage absolutely everything. They expect you to learn everything only 3 weeks in to the job. They keep gaslighting you into thinking you're not good enough, despite their absurd expectations. They keep threatening to fire you if you can't keep up with their work load and learning. Do not work at this company. They are definitely not inclusive of all people.

Once was a great company that I was proud to work for, now I am glad I am out of there.
The good thingsThere is an annual ball.
The challengesAs the saying goes - a fish rots from the head down. Over the past year there has been a considerable number of resignations, many of which were long term employees.

The challengesThere is a large amount of governance to overcome, and processes and systems can be cumbersome.

Excellent people and ambitious goals, great place to work.
The good thingsAs part of the WesCEF group you get the training and development opportunities of a large company and the ability to be nimble working for a small close knit team as part of the Kleenheat business.
The challengesShared service model can mean it is difficult to get infrastructure support and complete with other businesses for resources.

Enjoyable workplace with lots of opportunities
The good thingsGreat opportunity to work within a marketing team that has a fun brand to promote. Strong structure across the business with plenty of opportunities for growth and development. Lots of cross-team collaboration work on projects.
The challengesCompeting priorities for internal resources at times, but this is always discussed and communicated.

I'd proceed with caution if applying for a role here.
The good thingsMet a couple of good people.
The challengesExtreme Micro Management, every minute of every day is closely monitored. Zero autonomy in a management position. Horrible culture from middle management.

Would work at Kleenheat again if they changed their focus from KPI driven to quality of service.
The good thingsThey had a lot of cultural events, get-togethers, barbecues, celebrating people’s different cultures and cupcakes and nibbles and snacks. Good collaboration, teambuilding. Team leaders were always helpful and plenty of coaching and guidance.
The challengesCompany focused on KPI’s too heavily, it was number focused, rather than quality of service. More interested in making sure that your average handling time was met, number of calls taken ect, rather than actually resolving the issues customers were facing.

    Would not recommend
The good thingsClose to home , free parking
The challengesExtremely micro managed . Using your initiative was frowned upon . Constant monitoring and unnecessary nit picking over anything Team leaders were only interested in making themselves look good and not worry about the well being of their team members

Could be better, could have been a lot worse.
The good thingsInteracting with customers and the coffee.
The challengesAll calls recorded and every moment of your shift calculated. No eating, moving about or anything other than what you should be doing at all times. Very little feedback from management. Serious personal danger risks presented for those having to work alone. 2/10 would not recommend

A complete waste of 25 plus years trying to do the right thing for this business.
The good thingsThe majority of staff are great people to work with.
The challengesManagement talk about integrity and safety but all it is talk. They certainly don’t have any integrity with how they treat staff and customers, safety is just a numbers game where they count the number of STOPS but no action is taken with the contents in them.
