    Now an ugly duckling...
The good thingsThe staff were amazing at Castle Towers but all the great ladies left. The product is gorgeous and the staff discounts were fantastic.
The challengesThe new management have allowed staff who don’t have strong interior skills to remain. The Castle Hill store is a mess.

    A hot mess.
The good thingsI met and learned from some good people, and some bad people.
The challengesThe company is/was owned by men who had never owned a retail company before, and it showed.

Basic retil job, with no real perks, if you like the brand it's good.
The good thingsThe people you work with in the shops are great and help each other out.
The challengesSince the change in ownership things are very unsure and you often get asked if you are closing. Management are starting to get a handle on what we are selling, but are implementing more costs for delivery of large items and are having to start again from scratch in the Made to Measure area.

The whole team was awesome, worked well together, played well together.
The good thingsI liked the style of what I was selling, i had a background in fashion, & my enthusiasm for the different fabrics & garments carried through to staff & customers. The rest of the staff were lovely, so we all contributed to the smooth running of the place.
The challengesActually there weren't any difficulties that I recall. Challenges were usually to do with difficult or unusual customer requirements, but were always resolved in due course with the minimum of fuss.
