As a big company Lendlease should be complimented on looking after their people.

Cannot recommend for professionals who want to grow and doesn't like micro-management.
The good thingsIt was once a great organisation
The challengesWith continuous shrinking and restructuring, all the great guys have left or have been made redundant and only pleasers have been retained making the environment toxic and political.

Take your list of typical corporate construction companies that are toxic work environments and put this one very close to the top.
The good thingsWorking on iconic projects that look good on the resume and making connections with people that may be helpful in the future.
The challengesToo many to list. Amongst the worst things, terrible culture of politics and workplace bul1ying, extremely poor internal communication within the management level of the business and they do not live up to their ISO claims.

Working for lendlease is really good as the projects are complicated and the team is helpful to each other in life and work wise. There will always be good and bad in a company but so far lendlease has been a good place to work at.
The good thingsThe co workers are friendly and approachable. A lot of things to learn from everyone. Grad program is good, a lot of possibilities in terms of going through different roles once a few years of work after grad program. Salary is normal, uplift and other benefits when working in a remote place such as flights, house, and extra pay.
The challengesWorking in Tindal, a remote place is very challenging as it is away from everyone and everything. Working in a place like NT is hard as there is a lack of resources and manpower.

Too much work with too little support.
The good thingsOn site car parking, some really lovely staff. Regular pay check and weekends off.
The challengesTrying to keep customers happy, many of them are super critical. Team members not working together, actually actively working against other team members.

Big company with potential, however not quite suitable for new starters who will become new parents as the workplace is not ready to plan ahead the workload.
The good thingsCompany allows for Secondment and cross transition to the development
The challengesSome management role is recently promoted and do not manage the team well causing confusion and major issue - power trip

This company has lots of potentials to make your mark for a modern technology competent person if MS EXEL is your skill you will be required long into the future until the technology is effectively implemented to assist the end-user and opposed to putting more strain on the end-user.
The good thingsThe team was very willing to take on new ideas but the senior management had a roadblock mentality to change. Lendlease is a very corporate socially responsible company and has a fantastic greener outlook for all operations moving forward.
The challengesSystems are very manual for such a large operator and the use of IT is multi-pronged but in 5 to 10 years it will be at the same level as competitors.

The good thingsFlexibility. Location at Barangaroo. Very successful company. Great people.
The challengesLeaders at the very top don’t live by example. They expect their people to behave consistent with company values but don’t follow them themselves. Every year there’s a wave of redundancies in a bid to reduce costs.

Stay out of the Telco sector
The good thingsYou got paid, but not for the hours you put in.
The challengesLong hours, 6 to 7 days a week, no support from three levels of management who basically let go of the project steering wheel. As a group we tried to highlight the issues and suggest new ways of working but we were ignored. There will be no investment from upper management as the area is up for sale.

I enjoyed being in the project and part of the company. When you leave company you will value it more as you can compare Lendlease against competitors.
The good thingsWork life balance and some perks are awesome, some useful training modules and courses are available too. I liked that they are open to new ideas and encourage innovation. Also being part of Lendlease you feel that it is well organised company.
The challengesdealing with politics could be sometimes challenging specially when you are a technical person.
