I tried to stick it out, even turned down multiple job but the stress from management was killing me
The good thingsNice plant to work in.
The challengesManagement, safety, tooling, conditions, constantly changing goals, lack of communication and singling employees out for raising concerns.

A revolving door. Great place to keep meeting new people
The good thingsThe friendships. It helps make an environment that is made so challenging a tiny bit better.
The challengesUnfortunately with change of management the place is not what it used to be. All the loyal and passionate workers are no where to be seen. Lots of whispers and gossip and you get ignored by managers not professional at all. It’s like a circus but in the city. You are calm then you start to see the chaos unfold.

Ain’t what it used to be.
The good thingsOver the years have met some of the best people I’ve ever known. I’ve grown up learning more about myself and what I’m capable of
The challengesCommunication needs massive improvements, the way people talk to each other needs massive improvements. Training needs to actually happen and not be a forethought.

Working at Lite n' Easy.I absolutely loved working at Lite n' Easy. The people that I worked with were lovely, easy to talk too, so giving of their time and were so very helpful as well. The customers that we dealt with on a daily basis were lovely to talk too as well, even though there were some difficult situations that we had to deal with as well. Overall, I enjoyed my time there and would recommend anyone to apply to work there, either on the Lite n' Easy website or through Seek.

    Not worth the stress!
The good thingsSome of the staff and food discounts.
The challengesManagement, leadership culture. They couldn’t care less about your personal health or emotional wellbeing. Favouritism and group targeting is a common practice used by management & team leaders. No training programs. Extra work always required, without proper preparation.

I like this job. It has been around for a very long time. Stability and lots of shifts available. It has its share of politics, but you can choose to stay out of it.
The good thingsExcellent kitchen and canteen set up. Meals available at an excellent price. When I started work and ate their food, I lost 6 kg in no time at all. Repetitive work, but what isn’t these days? People I worked with were friendly and welcomed me even though I was with an agency.
The challengesRepetitive work hard work keeping up with conveyor But full-time staff helped with the tips and tricks of the job. No brain required. A very physical job.

Work hard in a supportive environment with great team culture
The good thingsGood culture, excellent support from Team Leaders and Management, great promotion of work-life balance - free gym, free medical each year, free skin check, free parking, free and/or heavily discounted food. Great culture with a positive team environment. Hybrid work from home opportunities once experienced. No weekend work in the Contact Centre. One of the best call centre environments around.
The challengesIt's busy, particularly on Mondays but the rest of the week is not difficult.

The challengesSenior managers show favoritism, bad behavior ignored, lots of gossiping and talking behind other back.

Management is a joke, don't work here.I'm saving you a headache
The good thingsLeaving, best thing i've done. Horrible company to work for don't do it.
The challengesThe management, selective who they want to communicate with you. You are just a number to them, they couldn't care less if you leave or ask for help.

The good thingsCheap food, clean office
The challengesLots of talking behind each others backs, outdated system from the 80’s, ridiculous expectations and management very cold and a complete joke.

There is a noticeable lack of culture, and it seems that around 50% of the management team lacks the necessary skills to effectively run the business. There is a lot of time wasted on self-deception and selfish behavior, with many just seeking validation .Despite having excellent quality and maintenance teams, the production team often tries to blame other departments for their own mistakes. This environment has made it difficult to achieve the company's potential.
The good thingsI would recommend this factory for production employees because of the friendly team, but definitely not for anyone seeking a management position.
    The challengesThere is no challenge,

My overall experience was not satisfactory.
The good thingsThe company offers stability, although the salary is average and slightly low.
The challengesOne of the major difficulties I encountered was the poor treatment from managers, who often showed a lack of respect towards employees. The work environment was quite heavy, filled with gossip, and lacked proper control.

A very tense work environment due to impossible work loads
The good thingsother call centre operators genuinely rallied to keep each other smiling underneath the stress levels, HR was approachable & proactive when problems surfaced and got onto things promptly, the 2 team leaders do an amazing job under hard conditions which are no fault of their own
The challengesKPI's unrealistic. Job description/offer was not reflective of the reality of the complexity of the many hats needed to property service customers. Specialised departments, such as those whose job it is to manage external courier issues were a poor support to the call takers leaving them to solve problems that they are not trained for. Stress levels of other staff gave the call centre a tense vibe you felt as soon as you enter, again not their fault as its a very stressful workplace. Inadequate break times at ridiculous time slots and didn't stay consistent even if you work the same hours and days each week. Forced to change my hours completely to the opposite of what I was offered upon commencement and told that's just what we need from you now.

Wonderful working environment and a totally dynamic culture and approach to business, great experience!
The good thingsGood environment to work in for office staff, positive culture and A+ staff amenities
The challengesCareer development pathways, the older established culture allowed some damaging and aggressive individuals to stay in roles they should have long been since moved on from, but since I left some of the old establishment has been moved on

    Terrible experience
The good thingsNothing! Luckily, this wasn't my first experience in a food manufacturing role and left after 2 weeks.
The challengesThey don't care about the worker's welfare. I was required to do the same task for 3 hours without rotating, which was handling frozen packages of food as faster as possible. It required to lift bags while bending my back and twisting in order to do it as fast as the supervisor required. When I decided to do it right and take care of myself, they took me out of the production line and asked me to improve or leave. Of course, I left!
