Not a place you can sit and do the bare minimum. If you want a place that challenges you to always be improving, this is for you.The good thingsThe biggest standout to me working here is the pursuit to challenge the status quo. Having run my own business for many years, if I was just asked to clock on and off, I wouldn't be that fulfilled. It's been nice to be able to bring in an idea, told to run with it, and give it a go. You can have a lot of ownership in what you're doing.
The challengesProbably resources to keep pushing things forwards. The company is growing fast, and sometimes areas don't get thought of for improvement, but that's only a challenge if you keep quiet. If you keep putting it under a microscope, keep being outspoken, then the management (who do expect more than normal, but are very willing to help if asked) will do what they can to make things work.
For example, one day my team leader WILL order those light mounts that I ask for, wont you ;-)
