    Terrible experience with manager.
The good thingsGood location in the city.
The challengesHorrible experience. Micro-management, rude. . Was told after my hire that there had been a number of hires prior to mine that had struggled with my manager. So, obviously no surprise when I came across the same issue. And, once I started struggling with their approach, rather than reflect, they doubled down and started making the criticism a personal attack on me. Seems like they don't want to deal with the manager, so it's up to the new hire to deal with them. I couldn't be bothered, so was quite happy to quit after a few months.

Toxic, over worked and under paid
The good thingsWork from home options
The challengesManagement. Most are in this position due to who likes who not because of skills or knowledge. Over worked and under paid Offered promotions means more work but on the same money. Apparently pay rises only occur after 12 mths of being in the role. The role itself though isn't less work.

If you are an experienced legal assistant stay away! Computer systems are terrible and outdated, there is a definite hierarchy where you will be treated like a child leaving long serving staff with bad attitudes. There are definitely better firms out there!
The good thingsGood conditions (leave etc).
The challengesOutdated software, staffing problems, not prepared to take feedback to improve processes.
