    Terrible place with terrible pay

    The challengesThe people here are very strict and as a young person you get paid terribly and they will constantly change where you are working and what you are working on so you have no consistency and never get to know anybody well enough.

    The good thingsyou will be assigned to the different areas such as entree/mains/banquet sections for preps and on game day, you will have opportunities to work in different corp boxes for service.
    The challengespolitical environment. you have to be very socialized with the higher level workers in there for better opportunities.

    Lots of old people acting like superiors. old management doesn't have a career path in future. Less shifts for service staff.

    The good thingsThe hours,the team I worked with and my supervisor was professional and very helpful.Working in the Longroom was fantastic .Working when the Crickets on and the footy AFL
    The challengesthe change over guests leaving and guests waiting to be seated seated was busy.and I worked as cashier at one of the public bar during the Cricket season that was busy and you had to be fast good experience.

    The challengesThe older ladies that work there aren’t very understanding and friendly. Take advantage of being a supervisor.

    The good thingsMostly friendly staff/management, free uniform, great atmosphere so mostly happy customers!
    The challengesIt only goes on crowd predications in order to be allocated to a shift, the bigger crowd they're expecting the more chance you are to being allocated to a shift. Not to mention, the huge gap between AFL Grand Final in late September to the Boxing Day Test.

    I do not like the work environment but the shifts are great for a study and work life balance

    The challengesThere are so many staff that the experience feels disconnected. Very rarely do I work in the same venue with people I know.
