If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it's probably a duck. The good thingsAs some reviewers have mentioned, there are some genuinely kind and hardworking people that work there. Some workers, who even with targets on their backs, will still take the time to provide valuable information and even support in your role, so you can avoid being a target yourself.
At the end of the day, most people (and potentially yourself) are people with little or no qualifications/skills, in between jobs, or just trying to make money as best they can. Even if you're willing to put up with the workplace issues and work politics, if you can fly under the radar as best you can, it's very possible to get plenty of overtime (as they are always understaffed) and earn between $80k - $100k in a year in these roles....and all you're doing for the most part is throwing bags on and off a plane, or into a baggage belt.
The challengesHonestly, take the time to read the other reviews above and below, as a large majority of them are telling you exactly what is happening. It's no secret...training, management, work culture, equipment condition, lack of support (management and HR), lack of staff...all of them are poor in one way shape or form...and the company isn't proactive enough to rectify any these issues. Even trying to get your pay done correctly is a challenge.
All these issues inevitably compound on themselves due to the same reason that plaques most 3rd party ground handling companies, high turnover.
These and all the other issues mentioned earlier could be resolved if they commit to making more of an effort to becoming a proactive business. The company however seems to be very set in their ways and even enforces it's reactive decision making upon it's own workers, so it's no wonder you see so many of the same jobs being displayed here on Seek...the revolving door keeps spinning by their own hand.
