Avoid, you will end up getting counselling, the most toxic unprofessional place I have ever seen.
The good thingsBeautiful cars and colleague’s had each other’s backs in tough times.
The challengesManagement were awful and unapproachable. Gossipy, unhelpful and when i seeked help I was told go to someone they employ as they were busy. I endured the most toxic environment and it is no surprise they are always hiring.

Good culture with immediate colleagues but disappointing that the place is being run into the ground by higher up.
The good thingsGood culture and Saturday lunches.
The challengesThe people higher up who are running the place have no idea on how to do so. Very unprofessional and they turn a blind eye to things that go on, even when staff have reported it.

    Defend that skinny budget!
The good thingsI mean, it's Mercedes-Benz! Legacy is sound.
The challengesBetter to have learnt your job from previous employment, as onboarding is non-existant. Interpersonal tension. Discouraged from assisting in after-sales due to a cheap-ass culture (and there are PLENTY of quality issues).

Nice cars, when they work, but very overrated and management there needs to change and become less toxic and be brave and make changes that matter, especially for their workers health and well being
The good thingsThe working level is good and some of the middle managers with good people skills are ok.
The challengesPoor leadership. Toxic culture. Antiquated systems. Many people have left the company and it seems like not many people really enjoy working there. The perks are overrated and the cars themselves are very buggy and poorly built. Great tech when it works but I would not trust them to build a good car, especially their new EVs. They still function like a very old legacy company and will find it difficult to adapt and change in the future, despite their rhetoric. They don’t really value workers and are very tight with budgets and expect workers to sacrifice themselves for senior managers failing in establishing good o practices, systems and resources.

Overall it was good, the pay wasn't great at all but I developed skills that have helped me progress my career in the Automotive industry. Upper management have the attitude of doing it my way or no way.
The good thingsThe workshop and controller
The challengesEveryone wants to be the boss and upper management have no idea at most times.

Lots of show, but very little go. Don't expect high performance from this place.
The good thingsa fabulous brand, exciting products and the promise of interesting work. also some really lovely people. it's a good place to go, sit back and not have to do much.
The challengeshighly political, overly complex and and inept organisation for it's size. MBAuP has had the luxury to do things badly, so there's a lot of mismanagement, deferred decisions, inability to change and some old-time bureaucrats in positions of power who lack vision. the result is you get teams of frustrated people who cannot really make the change needed to move this dinosaur into the future. they leverage the brand to attract staff and pay less than market rates.
