Wouldn't bother unless you like working in a toxic environment
The good thingsSome really great people that were supportive and friendly, beautiful office
The challengesMy time at this company was extremely challenging. The work environment was toxic, and staff were consistently treated poorly. Many of the individuals I worked with created a culture that was uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Management, along with certain executive assistants, demonstrated some of the most unprofessional behavior I’ve encountered in my career. Unfortunately, HR was unresponsive and failed to provide support or clarity when it was most needed. Overall, it was the worst professional experience I’ve had.

I believe MetLife is a good company to work for, but would not recommend or take another job in the Finance department.
The good thingsI believe teams other than Finance enjoy work/life balance and opportunities for growth.
The challengesI found my work load extremely intense and had issues with my direct manager. HR seemed disinterred in helping or empathising with my issues.

Good environment and culture, management could be more aggressive
The good thingsGreat work culture, a high level of respect among employees. Relatively low stress environment. Not hierarchical. Active promotion of social activities. A reasonable amount of benefits.
