Not without its downsides, but the perks well outweigh.

The good thingsGet to do a lot more than with most other companies. Everyone who comes through wether short or long term says how good it is to learn fabrication especially and also being more specific in technical issues. Not having specialist mobs close by to Palm jobs off too means being able to spend more time on problems and working out causes and fixes.

The challengesBeing in a small town and working 5-2 gets a bit old, and with the mines the way they are you have to justify everything you need to fix. But it's getting like that everywhere.
