Good job for a bit of extra cash, but the poor management and lack of training is clearly a short falling for the miss maud brand. The good thingsA good company if you’re studying or you have another job, but not somewhere you would stay for the long term. Got trained ( not very well) on all aspects of the store, waiting/clearing tables, taking orders, making coffees, working the counter and catering, as well as closing and opening. Good job.
The challengesLook, the shifts you get are amazing if you’re young and have a lower pay rate, this is because the company is so stingy with hours, but still expects the egregious amount of work to be done in an unrealistic timeframe. There was no adequate training, and from my experience my 2ic was so mean.
