    Not happy working here, should have left sooner!

    The challengesWorking with staff and management. Liked only certain people, everyone else left to fend for themselves, not enough training. Waste of 9 years, I wanted to be trained in dispensary, made my life difficult!

    Quite a fun place to work, with the right team, you don't hear much from head office and they don't seem to support their staff a lot - but overall a friendly place to work

    I have never loved a job more.
    The good thingssuch a great community environment, actually feel like you can help people, love the training always learning something new. Great teamwork, keeps the grey matter working all the time.
    The challengesall retail no budget for staff, under the pump, some customers can be very difficult in pharmacy because they don't really want to be there(health conditions etc)

    Excellent work environment with many great people but work prospect dimmed by the potential of reduction in base rate and penalty rate

    The challengesDue to increase in market challenges, the company is in a phase of transitioning from customer focused pharmacy chain to sales focused pharmacy chain. Increase focus in sales rather than focus on adding value to customer's health.As a non profit company, this change is contradicting to the nature of the company. In addition, appreciation and respect to the value of each pharmacist is depreciating. Management of the company is going through negotiation with the union in regards to reducing pharmacist base rate as well as penalty rate

    The good thingsThe company treat you like a person not a number and it makes all the difference and they celebrate special occasions like birthdays , They are also warming to the public. I loved working there for nine years ,
    The challengesThe study is a challenge as you have to keep up with all the medication s by doing certificates. The pay is a bit low but it is the award rate for pharmacy assistants, With saying that it is a nice clean work enviroment.
