    A good company to work because I have worked in much worse companies before.

    The QLD site has a great team and lots of potential.
    The good thingsTrue Australian success story, 65 years in manufacturing and still going strong. Without sounding like a cliche, the people made it a great place to work.
    The challengesTransition from old technology to newer, fast and more efficient machines takes big commitment and investment.

    Terrible P&C Culture, lack of training and handover
    The good thingsThe wider NCI Packaging team are great - dealing with the wider business from a payroll point of view everyone is lovely and easy to deal with.
    The challengesWhile in my role there was minimal communication, training wasn't thorough, the payroll processing (which I was hired to do) was removed from me and handed over to someone else without a simple chat, the P&C team culture isn't great either.

    Great atmosphere, great people loved working there.
    The good thingsThe people I worked with were amazing, I could have worked there for a long long time but restructure and retrenchment came so had to move on, the process was very professional and I left happy that it wasn’t Personel just a business decision.

    The challengesSometimes the management don’t seem to notice what is happening out on the floor. And at times we were put under a lot of stress due to things beyond our control.

    I wouldn't recommend this company as a place to work.
    The good thingsMy manager was incredibly engaging and valued my experience. When she was made redundant I felt isolated and unimportant.
    The challengesPoor performing staff with long tenure were not managed and bad behaviour was accepted by the executive team. The company was undergoing a large restructure and staff who were adding value to the business were made redundant instead of the poor performing staff.

    NCI changed my life I've got experience in a work place for future.
    The good thingsNCI changed who I was it's like I come out of my shell, lots of training I went to the city & did my O.H&safety, first aid, 5s etc.
    The challengesEvery week we have meetings to approve the work place work more smarter not hard.
