I've met so many amazing people through Ngala. I learn so much from all the different programs and wouldn't want to work anywhere else.
The good thingsEveryone from the CEO down truly cares about the health, wellbeing and safety of staff, children and families. Ngala is such a diverse organisation, which provides so many opportunities to connect and learn from each other.
The challengesFinancial sustainability is a challenge for all Not For Profits, however Ngala prioritises spending on activities that support children families and staff.

    Assistant Coordinator/Educational Leader

The most supportive and positive space to work, grow and develop as an educator!
The good thingsI started with Ngala as an educator in our Claremont service. I was amazed at the amount of support and appreciation that I received from not only my coworkers and centre management, but from our upper management as well. There are endless resources that we are able to access that Ngala provides! As educators, we are also able to contact the helpline for any tricky questions. Our above award wage reflects the value that this company places on early childhood educators. There are so many pathways to move through within the company so the opportunities for professional growth are amazing. Personally, I have been able to move all the way from educator to team leader and more recently the educational leader/assistant coordinator. I've had nothing but positive experiences during my time working here. With 4 early learning services across Perth, we are able to collaborate with one another and create an amazing sense of community. I can't recommend this centre anymore.
The challengesNothing! It is an amazing and supportive space to work and be a part of.
