    Site Engineering Specialist
    Jun 2025
Perth WA 60001 to 2 years in the role, current employee
What I truly enjoy about my role as a Site Engineering Specialist at Nokia Solutions & Networks is the diversity and technical depth of the work. From conducting site surveys to finalizing RF designs and working hands-on with installations and testing, every project brings something new to learn. I especially appreciate being part of large-scale deployments—whether it's in tunnels, in-building DAS, or macro-outdoor environments—and seeing how our work directly contributes to high-quality, reliable network coverage. The integration of tools like iBwave and Power BI also adds a data-driven edge to the job, which keeps things exciting and evolving.
The good thingsIt's incredibly satisfying to see a project come to life—from planning and execution to final optimization. I also value the opportunity to work with cutting-edge telecom technologies and collaborate with talented teams that are committed to innovation and quality.
The challengesOne of the main challenges in my role is managing tight timelines while ensuring high-quality execution on-site. Sometimes, unexpected issues—like logistical delays or weather conditions—can put extra pressure on project delivery. While it’s part of the job, it can be demanding.
