Terrible overall, management have no direction, bad culture!
The good thingsNot much.. they word the place up but it's all smoke and mirrors, avoid like the plague!
The challengesOnly shareholders are respected and paid well here, while junior staff are undervalued and taken advantage of.

Good people, lots of opportunities to develop your skillset, and good flexible work options
The good thingsFlexible working: Flexible start and finish times, wfh/hybrid environment and opportunity to work from other offices and locations. Opportunity: The opportunity to contribute and also lead projects. The caring culture at Northrop allows a safe space to learn and grow. The culture: Collaborative, fun and friendly.
The challengesInefficient systems: Current systems are a bit dated and some double handling. Growing pains: It's a growing company

    Overall is great.
The good thingsPlenty training opportunity, good engineering vibe. Landmark jobs
The challengesthere's a privacy concern while working with Northrop. Sensitive personal data was collected without employee's consent, which is against the law.

Senior or Graduate - look elsewhere for better working conditions and remuneration. Stay away.
The good thingsGood opportunity for less experienced engineers to get their feet wet with many small jobs. Many social events.
The challengesNo team mentality. Staff spending many extra hours beyond the normal working day and weekends to deliver projects, with no help from management or peers - very busy office (and proud of it). Most projects small and taken on purely for the purpose of cashflow. Any larger projects are scooped up by the Principals, making it difficult to progress one's career and validate contribution to the company come remuneration review. Remuneration below average, particularly for the hours worked.

The good thingsIf you're a shareholder you can make a good salary by taking advantage of junior staff.
The challengesLimited career progression for 95% of staff. Management is out of touch with reality, focusing too much on billable hours and profit, neglecting the people of their business. Management tries to convince employees that they care about them by constantly telling them, rather than actually doing anything significant to make Northrop a good employer. Workload is ridiculously high. Your pay will start low and rise slowly.

Northrop is the place to work for positive challenges and career growth.
The good thingsNorthrop offered an extensive range of challenging projects to work on, ranging from high end residential jobs to high rise construction. They never declined the request to take on new or different design jobs to assist in career growth.
The challengesTaking on multiple projects at once can be overwhelming at first, however once this challenge is overcome it is great.
