    Have I done it? - yes Would I do it again? - definitely not!
    The good thingsWorking with a friendly team, family medical insurance as part of the package.
    The challengesToxic work environment with challenging managers who don't like to be held accountable. All different parts of the company are doing their own thing, there is no unity. Very little in the way of career development or training unless you are someone's mate.

    Working here has been a pretty rewarding experience.
    The good thingsEveryone is supportive, and the camaraderie among the crew makes the long shifts enjoyable. Regular training sessions Working safely and consistently is very much supported.
    The challengesThe usuals you see on every mine site but managed and dialled down.

    The good thingsNorton provides a very competitive benefits package that includes a large bonus, fully covered private health insurance, extra LSL among others. It's a relief having very good health insurance for myself and my family, that is all paid for by Norton. I've worked for quite a few mining companies in the past and this is definitely the best I've ever experienced!
    The challengesThe operations sometimes have their own unique challenges, but it is nothing that can't be overcome.

    Early years good different management later years bad
    The good things I enjoyed the job of driving the trucks and some of the people I worked with and I got to advance on to other machinery
    The challengesI think once head office changed they got rid of a lot of good managers and good people and we are left with a lot of people that weren’t happy in their job
