    Overall a great company to work for & I enjoyed my time there
    The good thingsA great working environment with A lot of quality staff made working there an enjoyable experience.
    The challengesOmax has been under a dark cloud with the company been under the spotlight with a proposed merger between Staples & now WINC which has taken over. Hard to k ow where you stand as most of the WINC management team seem incompetent to do there role & didn't show respect to any of the Omax staff.

    A great place to work and have really enjoyed my 2 seasons there.
    The good thingsDefinitely would be one of the best places I have ever worked in. Management were fantastic and very supportive. The general team of warehouse employees are very helpful and always willing to lend a hand. I highly recommend anyone who are looking to have a seasonal casual position for the summer period. Would like to work there all year round if there were positions available.
    The challengesThere were really no challenges, as I found the role very compatible to my skillset.

    The challenges- the massive influx on orders can be quite challenging - surviving an 8 hour day if your new to the workforce is challenging - unpredictable shifts during the last few weeksdue to influx of orders and less staff

    Nice staff, flexible working conditions but very low pay and high stress!
    The good thingsThey are good at providing a work life balance. Stay back late and take time off your next shift. If you need to work from home it is happily arranged. Staff are friendly and nice.
    The challengesHigh stress levels, low pay and do not hire enough staff to cope with workloads.

    The good thingsVery relaxed attitude. Perception of OfficeMax as a professional entity externally was positive and the polar opposite to reality within the organization.
    The challengesManagement have an aversion to being challenged, Would regularly discount ideas raised by underlings and then these very same ideas/strategies would resurface and be adopted a one of the management team as their own. Could never expect management to push up nor challenge the status quo, just play politics. Instead they spent heaps of time and resources on hackneyed cliched mantras which were more of a laughing stock than inspiration.
