Disorganised, nepotistic workplace with poor training, toxic culture and consistently low morale.
The good thingsOpenCorp is disorganised, poorly trained, and driven by nepotism. Unqualified friends of management are promoted, creating a toxic and inconsistent workplace culture.

HR Manager Thank you for your feedback. We take concerns about culture, training and fairness seriously. At OpenCorp, we have clear expectations around performance, conduct and client service, which are applied consistently. Promotion and development are based on capability, contribution and behaviours. We recognise not every experience will be positive, particularly where expectations are not met or perspectives differ. We remain committed to a professional, respectful and accountable workplace and continue to strengthen our onboarding, training and leadership capability. We wish you well in your future endeavours.

Very rewarding company with a positive culture and a healthy work-life balance.
The good thingsThe culture at OpenCorp is very healthy and the senior leadership team are continuously looking for ways to improve the business and make it a better place to work. Everyone engages in open dialogue and nobody is afraid of a challenge, with support available from all teams if and when required.
The challengesThe Property Market is constantly influenced by external factors (i.e. media coverage / interest rate changes), therefore it's imperative to remain informed about what's going on in the world. However, the vast amount of knowledge and experience from senior OC employees assists greatly.

Collaborative environment with career growth potential
The good thingsThe ability to collaborate and influence. OpenCorp are always open to feedback and ideas to further develop which has been the most exciting aspect of my experience to date. Approachable leadership team. The leadership team are very visible and make an effort to get to know all staff. Strong focus on employee development and training with no glass ceiling. The opportunity to further your carer is endless with opportunities to grow and further develop a career.
The challengesThe additional support provided creates a different structure and can take a little bit to wrap your head around in the beginning.

OpenCorp prioritizes creating a respectful and inclusive workplace where diversity is celebrated. Employees feel valued and supported, and there is a strong commitment to maintaining a positive and respectful company culture.
The good thingsOpenCorp fosters a collaborative work environment where employees are encouraged to share ideas and work together towards common goals. Teamwork is valued, and there are ample opportunities for employees to engage in cross-functional projects.
The challengesFacing the challenge of learning a lot in the early days at OpenCorp due to its diverse business operations can actually be viewed as a positive aspect. While it may seem overwhelming initially, it presents several opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Easily the best career decision I have made
The good thingsOpenCorp offers an inclusive environment to grow and learn in your career. During my time at OpenCorp I have enjoyed the fun culture that fosters a safe space for us to continuously learn and develop in our roles. There is such a diverse range of skills in the company that you are forever learning something new which I love! I have been lucky enough to significantly advance my career here and it is largely due to the incredible team around me and the opportunities that the company offers. Unlike other places where I have worked, OpenCorp truly embodies its values and makes decisions centred around its passion for our clients which is such a breath of fresh air. The leaders of the organisation genuinely care about their people and are committed to growing us to be our best which is reflected in the long tenure of many of us in the business. OpenCorp has a fantastic work-life balance, allowing me the flexibility to be my best in all aspects of my life without compromise. I honestly couldn't recommend OpenCorp enough, it is easily the best career decision I have made.
