    Stressful and disappointing
The good thingsStable hours and rosters
The challengesBad management- culture allowed managers to yell at emoloyees and this culture was accepted. Even though I worked really hard- i was made to feel intimidated by my manager and wasn't given a healthy work environment to progress or settle into my role. Would not recommend.

I started with Oxford about 13 years ago.I've become very good at what I do. I've refined my skill set as a sales person and Suit fitter to an art I attribute this to being in good company.
The good thingsGood company culture Training and support Pay is above retail award Despite retail being what it is,the company is very organised, stable and an all round positive vibe through out to work in.
The challengesWhat you can expect in retail in today's economy. While a lot companies are falling by the way side. We have become a very dynamic company. The pace we operate at today is efficient. So the challenge is to learn fast on your feet and stay sales hungry.

Overall positive as I'm overly impressed with the freedom I have in my role.
The good thingsThe benefits package is excellent. What I love the most about my job is the absolute freedom I get. I get up in the morning and I go somewhere new everyday. I have complete control over my schedule on the premise that all my stores have been looked after. As its a head office role I'm constantly given information on new products, promotions & anything in general that's going on in the company.
The challengesEmployees that refuse to follow Policy & Procedure are not being dealt with. I find that when I have to raise a problem it usually has to be raised at a head office level instead of being dealt with immediately by the state manager. The VM manager understands but doesn't have enough power/authority if you will to be able to fix the problem straight away so help is quite limited. It's frustrating to have to always have to go all the way to the brand manager. Expenditure on housekeeping is minimal, which presents itself as a big concern to me.
