Although there were challenges there are gonna be challenges wherever you go this site overall was a great site great company and amazing people to work for.
The good thingsThe workers at the site are all easy going especially the bosses they’re very easy to talk too and understanding you a very caring tight net of work mates that make the days go by easy.
The challengesAlthough everyone is easy going and chill it also makes for complacent workers who don’t really make an effort each day and it’s majority of workers as I’m a worker that likes moving and working and if I see workers stop starting over and over again it does make the job difficult to deal with also the age range in majority of the workers are 40+ so that also makes it harder as all of them feel they have worked their hard days and the younger generation has to pick up the slack and that’s alright if it was only 2 workers but it’s definitely over 70% of the crew.

    Great culture and approachable management
The good thingsParkview has a great, down-to-earth \"family\" culture. Management are approachable and supportive and good performance is recognised and rewarded. I actually love coming to work everyday and couldn't imagine working anywhere else.
The challengesI honestly cant think of any challenges I would add here.

Overall, good experience working with the company. Great people!
The good thingsGreat company and people to work with.
The challengesNo work /life balance as you need to ALWAYS work on a SATURDAY. Pay is not the average I would say on the lowest category.

    Family away from home
The good thingsParkview provide a family culture which is hard to find in the Construction Industry. You do not feel like another number and will not be lost in the crowd. You enjoy being a work and exerting the energy as you are continuously rewarded for your efforts. Parkview provide an opportunity for continuous growth and find ways to better your strengths and work on any weaknesses to guide you on the correct path within the industry. You are given exposure to all areas within the life of the project and you will never be complacent with the tasks at hand as you will be given the opportunity to move around and learn as much as you can.
The challengesOne of the biggest challenges arising would be the fear of being \"thrown\" into the deep end of a multi-million dollar project, gradually working your way through the ranks. You are continuously guided in the right direction to help you achieve your KPI's but also left to learn how to achieve the tasks on your own. The culture here is that \"there are no stupid questions, just stupid mistakes\".

Its really a great place to work, thoroughly enjoy working here.
The good thingsIn my 20 year carreer have previously only worked for 2 companies, both being listed mid / top tier builder developers, although I enjoyed my time and learnt allot with both of my previous employers Parkview has been the best place Ive worked by far. Some of the great things: -Great mix of interesting high quality projects. -Long term clients and ongoing projects / job security. -Great company culture, no politics. -Passionate and capable colleges. -Projects are well resourced. -Great senior management team who are well connected with staff at all levels. -Carreer progression. -Good subcontractor and supplier base. -Formal training programs to enable staff to rise through ranks.
The challenges-All the normal things working in construction but not much more.
