    General Manager Marketing
    Jul 2020
1 to 2 years in the role, current employee
Has been a great first year, many ups & downs, still learning a lot as this is a new industry for me but I look forward to a really promising future here where I am well supported and able to have fun while working hard to achieve mutual goals.
The good thingsThe management have been wonderful looking after and caring for staff at a time which is particularly tough for the business with the shutdown due to Covid-19. Great team of people to be working with, everyone keen to help each other out and a real 'can do' attitude to getting the job done.
The challengesCovid-19 has obviously been the biggest challenge facing any business this year but I feel that PLG has risen to the top in the way they have dealt with it and thought of people first.

    Every day is different
The good thingsPlenty of room to grow or move - There is a variety of different employment locations and positions within the company. Being part of a large team you are provided with opportunities to be included in a variety of training programs, provided assistance and mentoring from some of the best in the industry
The challengesThe constant changes within the business due to variety of reasons including competition, growth, industry changes, and compliance changes. Maintaining a work/life balance due to the hours of work in the industry. Due to the very busy environment at times it is difficult to keep on top of workload due to unplanned events/requirements.
