    Hard Pass on this one
The good thingsFinishing on time. When we used to get BBQs
The challengesUnless you are a suckhole to the bosses, act juvenile like the "team leaders" or be best mates with the supervisors on a certain shift, you wont ever move ahead in higher roles, you'll be stuck forever doing the same thing day in and out. No opportunities for the regular workers who come in and do their job.

The good thingsWas a really good place to walk in every morning, everyone was happy and friendly but as staff have left the newer staff seem to be less friendly

Fun at the beginning until a certain staff member was hired and became controlling and a bull y
The good thingsThe role in general was fun, fast past and enjoyable
The challengesManagement had no guts when it came to stamping out bulling and aggressive behaviour. It’s all swept under the carpet

    Toxic work environment
The good thingsMeeting some nice people
The challengesPFD Knoxfield is a toxic work environment management make it hard for employees to take annual leave, you report workplace problems to the management and nothing gets done about it, pay is average they pay their employees $30 per hour.

There are better jobs out there
The good thingsReally good and hardworking people.
The challengesManagement could care about their staff more and not be so self absorbed. Read the google reviews this says it all.

Hard work for great pay. Wealth at the cost of health pretty much sums it up.
The good thingsThe culture was great for the most part. The money was always there, this role keeps you fit and pushes you to your limits.
The challengesDo not expect a work life balance. Hard yakka work. Not many people would last a week here. Many feet draggers in the industry, can and almost certainly will send you insane on the regular.

Terrible place to work nowadays Decent group of drivers at site but the new management are terrible. Huge turnover recently, a number of great workers being let go and dropped hours while terrible ones are kept on and looked after. Tweed Heads branch has taken a downturn, would not recommend in 2025.

    Awsome place to work.
The good thingsThe people are great. The culture is pretty awsome too. We have regular bbqs, pizza days and go carting sessions. We have a great Manager, good supervisior and pretty awsome team. The pay is really good too. Lots of overtime available.Staff discounts on woolworths rewards really add up. Uniforms and boots supplied. Access to all pfd stock at cost price plus 10%. Career opportunities are abundant. Overall a really fantastic workplace with a good vibe.
The challengesWhen co workers don't turn up for shifts the work load is left for those who have shown up.

Challenging logistics made harder by poor packing and labelling systems.
The good thingsI’ve worked in or alongside delivery and warehouse roles long enough to appreciate what PFD does well — consistent hours, decent pay, and stable work as part of an essential service. But the packing and dispatch process can really let the operation down.
The challengesDeliveries arrive with no crate system or box labels — no “1 of 2” or location tags. It slows everything down, especially on multi-drop runs, and puts extra pressure on both drivers and receivers.

No worth your time, the harder you work the worse you are treated.
The good thingsMade some good friends along the way.
The challengesUsed to be a great company to work at, very tight knit. The last year the GC branch has gone down hill badly, management has no clue what they are doing running the business into the ground losing a large amounts of business and long serving employees in the process. Would not bother applying.

    A very unsafe, toxic workplace
The good thingsVery little, a few good people.
The challengesUnfortunately there was, very little safety protocols, no OHS in practice, very disorganised, poor leadership, very wasteful with stock. A very depressed culture and high staff turn over.

Worst management. Worst company ever I have ever worked for.
The good thingsThere is nothing good about this place at all.
The challengesWorst management. Treat you like they are giving you a Favour. Force employees to work on every single public. Unfair work environment.

    Don't do it to yourself
The good thingsDecent, nice co-workers. Not the best pay I've had but not the worst.
The challengesRepetitive, heavy, tough on the back with Management not giving a stuff about you as a person. Not offering any flexibility (to a casual) even when family matters arise. Including a hostile phone call from the DC manager after I told a supervisor of my unavailability (as a casual) Misleading job title, unnecessarily long application process to just get to the first shift. Quickly realising the job role won't be the same as the job title. Lasted 3 weeks, lucky to make that. Lots of workers want out.

    Worst experience of my life
The good thingsGood money but they stuff up the pays a lot, few of the drivers are good people and helpful.
The challengesManagement is absolutely horrible and no support at all, they throw out verbal warnings to anyone for things they don’t train you for or tell you to do. Management have made myself and countless other workers I know very uncomfortable and put them in tears. HR does absolutely nothing. There are no job opportunities for you to work your way up. This job has put me on anti anxiety medication and made me and many others feel horrible about themselves and life. Highly do not recommend working here.

Management does not respect personal needs. Overtime was not optional leading to most staff doing 12+ hours, 5 days a week. Personal health complications and educational commitments lead to management becoming unhappy.
The good things- Decent pay - Diverse working environment
The challenges- Un-empathetic management - Work hours - Cold environment

Unfortunately the worse work experience, having to use systems from the 80’s with old fashioned out of date work ethics.
The good thingsAbility to purchase goods
The challengesOutdated computer systems, that do not work together. Management having stand up arguments in front of staff. Swearing and unhappy lower staff a regular occurrence.
