This is the Place for me!
The good thingsThe entire PA team are all so encouraging and actively seek to to support me in my role. The leadership is in touch with the needs of its team and the business. Nothing is too hard.
The challengesNot really many challenges outside the norm of doing business, however it did take some time to get used to the supportive culture.

A great culture, where everyone is encouraged to grow stronger together.
The good thingsThe business provides a great platform to grow and develop, whether that be through senior management or peer to peer training. We are given the opportunity to work autonomously, whilst also receiving regular feedback to improve ourselves and our sites that we manager. Work/life balance is well managed, with the additional weeks leave in lieu of nights spent away a great way to reward for being away from home throughout the year.
The challengesAs with any industry, Covid has played a big role in disrupting the personal growth. This has been negated well with the use of digital platforms to conduct regular meetings. However, nothing beats a face to face meeting.

    Best decision I ever made!
The good thingsThe Pharmacy Alliance management team have always been very supportive and encouraging. Opportunities for growth and strong incentives. Strong culture team constantly thriving to improve staff experience.
The challengesNot many.. Possibly lack of opportunities to interact with the rest of the team due to Covid.

When one succeeds, all of PAL succeeds
The good thingsAn amazing team. The culture of the business has come along way and working in the Merchandise team i found the culture to be the best part about the company. Everyone is capable of having fun and working at the same time and everyone genuinely cares. PAL is a company growing and evolving quite fast which means that people who are willing to be a part of establishing processes and the like will thrive.
The challengesThe opportunity for growth within the company is certainly there, however it can require some pushing and continued persistence to achieve.

I'm so happy I made the move to Pharmacy Alliance, it's been a fantastic move for my career and I feel energised and engaged everyday!
The good thingsPharmacy Alliance is a growing company so there is a really exciting energy within the team and lots of opportunity to put your own stamp on it. Being a small company, I love that I have the freedom to make the role my own and I have the full support of the leadership team. The Pharmacy Alliance team are a really talented group of people as well and I'm honored to work with them.
The challengesBeing a small company we are still trying to fine tune some of our processes/the way things should be done so this can be a point of frustration for some. But as long as you are comfortable with some level of uncertainty and you have a positive mindset, the team are great so you can work through any challenge.

Underappreciated workers and appalling, selfish management
The good thingsGreat team of co-workers.
The challengesThe management is appalling and run by people who have no idea how pharmacies work. Workers are underappreciated to say the least and issues that are raised are completely ignored and swept under the carpet. Very upsetting.

No walk in the park! Work life balance = 0
The good thingsWorking with members and building long term relationships .
The challengesCulture = Bad Management turn a blind eye on the issues they are aware of , easy to ignore rather than deal with the issues. Workload is ridiculous - timeframes and expectations are unrealistic and often weekend work to get the tasks completed . When management want something done , they want it asap, lack of respect for team members getting the work completed with travel commitments. Exit interviews are a waste of time , when no action is taken to sort out the issues or rectify the problems that have occurred. When a staff member leaves there is no trying into talking them into staying , ( I've seen some amazing team members leave who should of stayed) , but unfortunately for some management they would need to swallow there pride for this to happen. I've seen many things occur , I've spoken up and nothing has been actioned, this goes against my morales, beliefs and values, and im a believer in what goes around comes around.

Fantastic place to work - when surrounded by excellent people.
The good thingsExcellent support from Pharmacy Alliance. This really takes away a lot of the stress of managing the pharmacy and helping us focus on what's important, our patients and customers. Our Pharmacy Alliance PGM is brilliant. You always know that support is only a phone call away. His store visits always helps steer the pharmacy on track.
The challengesThere are always challenges in the pharmacy industry. But nothing that can't be overcome with great support, leadership and a high quality team.

My PGM is very proactive, and will alway do the right thing for the team.
The good thingsMy PGM was so helpful and is really supportive of me.
The challengesBecause the team is based regionally, the team don't see our area manager very often. But our PGM will call us to check in on our team and how we are tracking.

A great opportunity to expand and develop my skills!
The good thingsI got to do things that a normal marketing assistant wouldn't do, the role was a lot more than follow up and admin. You were really able to develop an idea. If it wasn't for this role I wouldn't have been able to step up into my next role ... I was able to show what I could really do.
The challengesYou have to step up and be willing to really put the effort in.
