Good people, good coworkers. Company vehicles seem to be dumping grounds for other staff. The good thingsSense of purpose, you really get a feeling like you are seen as more then just a number on a spreadsheet. I genuinely feel like I'm valued for more then just driving Pizza to customers.
The customers are all really understanding of any delays (of which there can often be many), though some aren't interested in small talk and just want you to give them their food and go away, which I understand fully.
The challengesCleanliness of work vehicles is a major downside. Our store has 3 vehicles, and all 3 of them are filthy inside and out. I refuse to drive one because my delivery driver coworkers use it as a dumping ground for their own personal rubbish. If you're in a Delivery Driver position with Pizza Hut, i highly recommend using a personal vehicle.
