Overall I left due to bad bosses not a bad job
The good thingsGood guys on the floor and mine! Good equipment and roster
The challengesManagement above leading hand. Clear divide between workshop and management. Foreman needs to be moved on, more people will come on board. They are friendly for the first week or so. Everyone is paid different.

Beware they delete reviews. There’s a reason they are always listing for new employees.
The good thingsGood blokes on the tools, the mine itself is good
The challengesMicromanaging, lots of paperwork, tuned up for littlest things, higher then supervisor roles. Many employees and supervisors come and go.

Working with extremely talented staff, all of which come and leave within 0-12 months
The good thingsThe company allows for quick progression through the ranks with little to no experience or training.
The challengesThe company operated or very little cash flow and is usually on stop credit with its suppliers. Jobs that should be finished often cannot be finished due to not having credit to clear accounts. Clients are kept in the dark on why machines are not sent back on time. More often the. It’s common for trade staff to pay for parts and have to submit staff reimbursements to get jobs done.

great work place, but needs to improve on a few things and review the positions of bosses, as some just don't seem cut out
The good thingsgood work environment and career oppertunities
The challengesgetting a work uniform takes MONTHS. I've had to buy my own pants because it takes too long. pay is pretty average and don't want to talk about pay rises. sometimes required to go to meetings at very inconvenient times.

PJL needs to review its management of its personnel.

A great place to start your career.
The good things- As a graduate, I always had questions about various topics and people were more than happy to help me figure things out. - Got the opportunity to work in the office designing things, running projects and on the floor with the mechanics on rebuilds. - The PJL head office is located a picturesque little town of Orange with good people, vineyards, clear night skies, golf courses and all the basic activities that you need to keep you active on your days off.
The challenges- With the enthusiastic new CEO, there seems to be a vision in place for the company.
