Fun retail job but bad pay
The good thingsThe staff were friendly and the job was fun and easy. It is fun helping people find jewellery they like, meaning more interactions with customers than then other retail jobs.
The challengesThe POS system is really outdated and old.
The pay is terrible.
A lot of online learning to do that takes hours that you don't get paid for.

The good thingsDespite having the largest retail jewellery footprint across Australia, the business is and still genuinely feels family owned at heart rather than big corporate. The culture is warm, supportive and people-focused, with great colleagues who truly care about the brand and each other. The products are beautiful and something you can feel proud to represent. The role is dynamic with plenty of variety, no two days are the same, which keeps things interesting and challenging in a good way.
The challengesSome internal processes are a little behind where they could be, however the business is very aware of this and is consistently working towards continuous improvement. There is a strong openness to ideas and suggestions, and positive change is actively encouraged.
