Horrible work environment with poor training, support and unreasonable expectations of staff
The good thingsNothing to be honest. All the good people leave fast
The challengesVery high turnover already tells the story. There are product issues, company culture issues, little global or regional support. Toxic, rude and disrespectful management with a very short term view of the business. Avoid.

It’s not worth it. Work for someone else.
The good thingsThe people and purpose of the business. At a senior level all the right things are being said.
The challengesDisconnect between senior leadership and people on the ground, middle management cause unnecessary barriers to success.

Good opportunity for experience in a wide product range
The good thingsStaff tried to support each other but there were few people with experience to share due to staff turn over.
The challengesHigh staff turnover leads to low amount of experience within the team and not much support. Management needs improvement and better direction at the country level. Staff with experience are too stretched and busy to be able to help. moral is low.

Learnt a lot and enjoyed engaging with local colleagues and being part of the local transformation of the business
The good thingsExcellent product quality and fantastic breadth of products offered. Strong brand and massive potential in diagnostics especially with emerging segments such as next-gen sequencing for clinical applications
The challengesMatrix management structure does not enable the business at a country level to run in an efficient and effective manner. Micromanagement from senior regional management with short term thinking.
