They’re very good to you and believe in your independence. No micromanaging. You’re trusted to do your job, but also expected to do it well. The culture is fantastic, the stance of the company regarding social and cultural issues is again very agreeable. It’s a very well managed company, and an excellent testament to what good management can provide in terms of pure productivity. I worked so hard for Polo, not for the pay check but just because they were so amazing to work for that I felt I owed them.

The challengesThere’s opportunities for advancement but it won’t happen quick.
Other than that? Honestly? Nothing. I’m serious, it was absolutely amazing working here and I’d do it again. Only thing I’d maybe mention is as our manager was in between promotions, there was a time she ran three stores at once. We’d be left alone, trusted to do our jobs. And we did. Diligently.
