Rebels are often the pioneers & designers of change; and I was lucky enough to experience last Xmas.
The good thingsThe company culture, the team at Northland so supportive and full of energy
The challengesNot enough shifts offered, would have loved to work more and back on a more part time basis

The good thingsBeing able to meet the most important and influential people in the company after working there for less than a month.

Fine for a first job, or for working whilst you're studying but for a long term job/career it will mess with your mental health
The good thingsThe pay is good and the discount is pretty good too.
The challengesManagement is a constant issue where the bad behaviour of superiors is overlooked by HR. Managers gossiping about majority of staff members to anyone who listen, and the mocking of staff members are a regular occurrence with no consequences. My mental health is an all time low

Working at Rebel Sport can be fast-paced and demanding, with high customer expectations, sales targets, and physical demands, but it offers valuable retail experience.
The good thingsThe work environment was very positive as well as the experience learnt throughout working there. Not only did I learn many tips and tricks from co-workers and training, I had also learnt to keep up with sales.
The challengesThe main challenges faced were the the high customer expectations as well as the face paced environment especially during peak time. As dealing with many customers at once was quite a challenge.

Super stressful work environment but the coworkers give you that much needed relief.
The good thingsCoworkers I made were amazing, became lifelong friends and made work worth going.
The challengesRoster would be awful, barely any staff rostered on days so it would be insanely stressful. Company doesnt really appraise good work but pinpoint your negatives.

The good thingsOpportunity for bonuses, but the corporate greed will very easily take it away from deserving workers.
The challengesManagement was very unsettled which led to some confusion in the work place.

Terrible/stressful! Do NOT work here unless you are a casual. It has honestly been so bad for not just my mental health, but most of the team working there. They set unrealistic expectations, don’t appreciate going above and beyond and only pinpoint the negative things. They also promise you the world but just continue to dangle carrots in front of you. It’s by far the worst job I’ve had!!!
The good thingsStaff discount is great. Only stayed working for them because we could still work through lockdowns
The challengesThey expect too much from you and don’t provide the help or tools to get to the standard they require. They also reward bad behaviour

    Amazing, fun and accepting team.
The good thingsGreat team to work with, great product training and sales training. Very diverse and inclusive team. Opportunity to grow and change in roles.
The challengesOnly challenge I experienced was being unable to transfer stores due to moving location and the closest stores being at capacity staff wise. But this really wasn't something that could be controlled.

Good if you want some extra side cash but nothing more than that.
The good thingsFriendly Environment, Good perks and higher than the average salary.
The challengesYou get paid to kill each other in sales. Too much competition with 25+ sales assistants in one store like what? As a result not enough shifts.

A good, average job if you want to something to get through high school or University. it was meh.
    The good thingsThe discounts, flexibility.
The challengesNot having a training platform that is informative of new ranged products or customer service techniques, it's just a questionaire ranking system. not very helpful if you want to know about new products. Also, Depending on the store and region, management can be a big challenge, found it biased on store favouritism within state regions and not much encouragement for stores that need it.
