    Poor Management Style.
The good thingsNew office and a lot of great staff.
The challengesPoor management style and lack of support for new starters. A lot of micromanaging and surveillance as well.

The good thingsGreat environment, wonderful place to have a work and life balance, and career progression!
The challengesChallenges, the only ones you can face when you are in the freight forwarding market only, Rohlig is just a great place to work! I am very glad and proud to work here!

Great Global Forwarder with lots of room for growth in the logistics industry.
The good thingsA great company to work for. The large global footprint we have, makes the day to day tasks far easier, as we have the tools and network for our clients. The Branch manager is extremely supportive and has no qualms in jumping into the hot seat to assist during challenging periods. Team is very close
The challengesBeing a smaller office we get forgotten about by our larger offices at times, as we are often “out of sight, out of mind”, don’t often have head office departments visit too check in. I have experienced this in previous forwarders too, this isn’t isolated to Rohlig.

    Family Friendly and Supportive
The good thingsOne of the best environments I’ve been part of in terms of career development and work-life balance. Managers are genuinely invested in helping you reach your full potential. Top management are very approachable which I think contributes to the wonderful culture of Rohlig.
The challengesNothing to put in here at the moment

    Supportive Team and Growth Opportunities
The good thingsRohlig Logistics offers a collaborative and inclusive culture, excellent training programs, and opportunities to grow professionally. The leadership is supportive, and the company’s focus on innovation and sustainability makes it an exciting place to work.
The challengesThe fast-paced nature of the logistics industry can be demanding during peak times, but strong teamwork and support make it manageable and rewarding.

    Horrible expereince
The good thingsWork/Life Balance. Work two days from home and three days from the office. However, most employees work four days from home.
The challengesThere is no room for growth. The company largely hired apprentices. If you don't know anyone inside,, please don't join. Employees are largely school leavers, so prepare for below-the-belt politics.

    Great Company to work for
The good thingsGreat company with a "personal touch" approach. As a family business, they try to be closer to employees and have open communication regarding any changes. The very strong and professional leadership team and friendly environment. The company offers various career development paths and trainings. The right place for the person with right attitude.
The challengesFor some people might be a location? However, the office is very conveniently located and easily accessible.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Rohlig and would have no issues returning in the future. With such a strong, friendly working environment, staff are able to increase their knowledge in a stable workplace with amazing people!
The good thingsRohlig Brisbane was an awesome place to work. The support you receive from management is extremely hard to find and i personally believe i was able to improve my skills in a way in which i would not have been able to anywhere else. The culture is great and everyone enjoys coming to work. I would recommend Rohlig to anyone in the Freight Forwarding Industry. They are a great company with a great team!
The challengesInitially taking on bigger roles can be challenging but with the guidance you receive from the team, it is easy to excel.

Self esteem depleting, however an expeirence.
The good thingsRohlig is a fantastic company to work for. There are many opportunities to further your career within the company and on a global scale. However this is only if you are already trained in the field.
The challengesWhat I found challenging was having the wrong people in management. Unfortunately, the people in management positions were egotistical and unable to handle the stresses of such a role. As a trainee, you will be given a crash course introduction, then thrown into a role you are not comfortable in and expected to preform as if you have prior knowledge.

It was not bad working at Rohlig. However there is definitely a lot of room for improvement.
The good thingsSome nice benefits such as team building events. Having the day off for your birthday is a nice little touch.
The challengesNot enough work to fill out the day.
