    The good thingsSince joining Rosebank I have been welcomed by a vibrant educational community where students and staff alike are nurtured, inspired, and empowered. The college fosters a culture of hospitality, justice, and compassion. Leadership clearly recognises that a thriving school begins with its staff. Rosebank actively supports both its educators and support personnel by promoting connection and wellbeing through social events and other pastoral initiatives. Professional development opportunities such as coaching and leadership pathways are available and personal growth is encouraged for all staff including administrators and teachers alike. It is a pleasure to come to work each day. If you are thinking of joining Rosebank, I can thoroughly recommend this as a workplace of choice.

    Nice place to work at Rosebank as there is sense of a belonging and community feel whether you are staff, student or parent.
    The good thingsLovely place to work, staff are friendly, management are approachable, and we have a great HR department where staff are supported.
    The challengesBusy environment and at times can be stressful, but the positive is staff are supported by management as they assist o make it work through busier periods of the year.

While we recognise that things can become busy at times, it is reassuring to know that you continue to feel supported during those periods.

    The good thingsThe collaborative culture is truly inspiring. Staff work together towards a shared vision for student success. The leadership team is supportive and encourages professional development.
    The challengesWhile the work can be demanding, the sense of community and shared purpose makes it truly rewarding. It's a busy environment, and maintaining a good work-life balance can be a challenge, but the positive impact on students makes it all worthwhile.

    The good thingsThere are many great people working at Rosebank who are passionate about the students and families we serve. It's a lovely community.
    The challengesThe school has a wide range of programs and events we offer to our students so while it's great to be a part of this community, we go through some very busy periods.

    Gets better every year and lots of opportunity to contribute to the improvement and development of the College
    The good thingsManagement open to feedback, lots of internal promotions, up to date and well-maintained facilities, processes constantly improving, excellent pastoral care team, new Principal in 2021
    The challengesSchool has grown significantly over a short period of time and so workload and processes have room for improvement - this is being rectified more and more each year, especially following the appointment of a new HR Manager in 2021.

    While I was given opportunities to advance my career, I felt unsupported, overworked and found the students disrespectful
    The good things- The school is welcome to any initiatives you develop - Opportunities for leadership - Overseas travel immersive experiences
    The challenges- Overcrowded student intake - Workload is immense and much is expected - Student behaviour is challenging and discipline is lacking - No HR - Staff morale and well-being could be improved - Management never fully resolve issues
