    Demoralizing experience.
The good thingsThe Team was great to work with.
The challengesStore Manager and Head Office are not supportive; providing zero training and support. Expects you to do everything, reports, aftersales care, etc and still be on the sales floor to produce sales. Micromanaging to the point where you can't do anything unless it's the way the have done so for the past 20 years. No innovation allowed. These Relics of the past should be put to rest.

Great for just a job, not worth it for professional development.
The good thingsThe stores and products are luxurious and wonderful to work with. If you are lucky to have great people in your store team work can feel like family.
The challengesLocal leadership team lack structure, organisation, planning, business acumen and integrity. It is not about hard work or competency but about whether they have a liking to you or not. If you are honest and hardworking, this business is full of politics and drama.

Working for Ferragamo was a stressful and demoralising experience, I'm glad that I have moved on to greener pasture.
The good thingsIt's a great stepping stone if you're wanting to start a career in luxury retail, it opens doors to bigger and better opportunities.
The challengesThings started off great with lots of drive within the business to make positive changes. Unfortunately, this was short-lived and many failed turnaround attempts followed, it got to the point where I could no longer take my career seriously at this company. Sales are all this company cares about, unfortunately Ferragamo has been in decline for years so it's always an uphill battle. Staff turnover was high at all levels of the business, there was no positivity to be found anywhere. Upper management is erratic and indecisive so it makes your job more difficult than it has to be. The company is severely under-resourced yet there is an expectation to perform on the level of competing luxury brands which can be near impossible if not delusional.

Not a good work environment along with poor leadership. Its all about sales and not about developing and training your people. No room for advancement,
The good thingsAll product are made in Italy
The challengesAntiquated system and poor upper management with a lack of support,

If you like to be micro managed, this is the job for you…just unbelievable.
The good thingsSupportive and optimistic floor team
The challengesInsane demands from regional manager. Endless and pointless admin reports. The company has no direction and has outdated client outreach procedures. Having to work 44 hours a week due to outdated workplace agreement.

If your life is working go for it and very good is just not enough.
The good thingsproduct and over work across everything related to retail ( so you get expose to multiple areas )
The challengesExpectations are extremely high with little support and long working hours, a lot of work and not enough staff, adm is too much, you need to be a yes person, if you have an opinion you will be blame for it. you life is your work that all.

'If work is your life, this is the perfect job for you!
The good thingsNice team and nice people but doesn't mean that all of them are productive.
The challenges Expectation can be extremely unrealistic - Being the best is not enough, you can be better mindset - You have to be a \"YES\" person in this job to succeed or get known - Not a lot of training for staff - No life balance, this is your life!
