    Not as bad as the reviews say.
    The good thingsI've enjoyed watching change in the business. The business is certainly getting better for staff.
    The challengesSystems, and Processes. Although everyone does their best to teach each other what to do. SOP's and proper training still need a lot of work.

    Terrible leadership, toxic culture, outdated systems ... the worst experience of my life.
    The good thingsI enjoyed absolutely nothing working at this company; the most enjoyment I got was getting in my car and leaving.
    The challengesLeadership, work culture, facilities, employee benefits - every aspect of this company is severely lacking. Before joining, I was warned by others and saw the poor reviews, and I should’ve listened. I’ve never worked for a company with such poor management and an overall toxic culture.

    The challengesPossibly the most boring job ever....Repetitive work and no smoke break!! if you enjoy standing up on a forklift and putting pallets away for 7.5 hours a day this job is for you

    Enjoyable to work, do the right thing and you get back what you put in.
    The good thingsGreat SA success story, huge employer in an amazing growth phase. If you are keen to work in manufacturing, there are opportunities for a stable career and new positions.
    The challengesIts shift work & overtime and that needs to suit you. Put in the effort & you get rewarded. Staff discounts on al the products is a great bonus.

    Would only recommend working there for a short time
    The good thingsNever out of work and stable enough hours
    The challengesRotational roster, a lot of downtime, only one break allowed for production workers, (yet maintaince are allowed 2 breaks) most of the machinery not being fixed properly which cause's problem's to be ongoing, weekend work without any RDO's throughout the week.

    Doesn't deserve the negative reputation.
    The good thingsWork/life balance is great. Salary is fair for the workload. Very easy job to get the hang of and excel in as it doesn't have some of the KPIs that other rep roles have. People generally very easy to get along with. Wider team good at celebrating successes.
    The challengesCompany tends to feel "penny-pinchy" with certain things. Inflexible with working arrangements, irrespective of position held. Gatekeeping regarding information.

    Work here if you're a few years out of uni and want to set your career up for success
    The good thingsI worked in the HR team a few years ago. When I look back, my experience was positive and career-defining; it provided experience over an extraordinarily wide range of HR/WHS/L&D skills, in a challenging and fast paced environment, within a team who were thinly stretched, but committed and very friendly. If you can do a few years at San Remo, you will do very well in the next step of your career.
    The challengesVery heavy top down executive management and decision making - this type of culture isn't for everyone (but it definitely builds resilience!)
