People really do come first at SCJ, the values are lived in the day to day and SCJs commitment to the community is best in class
The good thingsGreat people to work with, great culture
The challengesGlobally led meaning some limitations on local autonomy, not unlike many global companies

People (staff, families, communities....) are at the heart of SCJ.
The good thingsThe location, and benefits associated with it, are awesome. The people are great, and relatively youthful workforce full of energy and passion for driving the business and achieving results. Everyone gets along like a house in fire - there’s good banter and respectful conversation. SCJ have great leaders and staff who are truly passionate about their products, the community and families.
The challengesNot any that come to mind.

I didn't realise how good a company could be until I got here
The good thingsThe management at SCJ say they care about their people but they don't just talk the talk, they actually walk the walk - they make sure everyone is respected, cared for (both personally and professionally) and we get to work on really amazing heritage brands in a global, private company. All the teams work cross functionally really well together and everyone here wants to do the best they can for the business, because the business success is their success at the end of the day
The challengesIt's a little off the beaten track in terms of location in Lane Cove, but it's got heaps of on site free parking (and on site gym) so it's not really a con

Met some amazing and proficient people but unfortunately SC Johnson fail to enhance and develop individuals qualities.
The good thingsWorking autonomously, receiving great support from Peers.
The challengesWith most large companies Communication a major issue. At times dealing with inexperienced Managers who do not fully understand the obstacles and challenges that an on road Sales person experiences.

Overall a good experience. Felt the closing of the manufacturing wing of the company could have been avoided.
The good thingsSome really good people
The challengesSome ordinary Immature Management in the latter days caused a \"them/us\" culture to start which was not there in my early days.
